Fun and Learning ( go together like a horse and carriage)
I strongly believe one can take the most out of things when he/she uses those two concepts together. Today we had our first team training from one of our partner companies, Lingtech and it was a really great experience in terms of understanding better the mechanism that shake and stir an inter-cultural team.
The old (:P) MC team was also part of it, assessing their team experience and sharing their learnings over the past year.
All in all it was a very good day for science. And it was fun. :P
And as an end note about the randomness of events i have to share a little off-topic thing that happened on our way home/office: i decided to go home and finalize some things and go straight to Mag for the dutch dinner afterwards, but Prateek had to go to the office so I took him to the bus station - when the bus stops and i'm saying my goodbyes i hear someone calling my name - its the bus driver!!!, Tony, a guy who was in our Roskilde camp... i decide to get on for one stop to chat a bit with him so I end up getting off the bus at Forum. The Metro seems like the best option to get back home so i do that and while sitting and pondering about what a huge coincidence that was at Kongens Nytorv station who do i see walking by the open doors of the metro??? Tabs! Tabs who i said goodbye to 10 minutes back, going on opposite directions. I guess all roads meet at one point. Either that or everything is just utterly random. :)
